Cedar Rapids, Iowa — March 4, 2026 — Novy today announced the official launch of Syncra, an AI-native scheduling platform designed specifically for independent emergency medicine (EM) groups, including the debut of the brand name, public website, and an early access waitlist now open to select EM groups ahead of a full public launch later in Q1.

Emergency medicine scheduling is one of healthcare’s most underserved operational problems. Independent EM groups (physician-owned practices that staff hospital emergency departments across the country) manage complex shift rotations under constant pressure: increasing staffing complexity, shrinking administrative bandwidth, and the persistent challenge of building schedules that physicians actually trust as fair.

Existing software either lacks the intelligence to handle EM’s unique complexity or carries the cost and overhead of enterprise health system tools that simply weren’t built for independent groups.

Built With and For Independent EM Groups

Rather than adapting legacy workforce software for emergency medicine, Syncra has been developed alongside EM groups to reflect how scheduling actually works in practice. Feedback from pilot participants is already informing final refinements ahead of a broader rollout.

The platform addresses three problems that generic tools consistently fail to solve:
